Welcome to Black Bottle
In 1879, the Graham brothers quickly made a name as tea blenders, but soon turned to making Whisky.
The blend was originally known as Gordon Graham’s Special Liqueur Whisky, and was sold in pottery bottles and five gallon jars. With many shops selling whisky, the brothers decided to look for a unique bottle, which would set their whisky apart from the many other blends on the market. They settled upon a striking black glass bottle, which they thought would perfectly suit the unusual character of their whisky, and reflect the brave and uncompromising nature of the founders. And so BLACK BOTTLE Whisky as we know it was born.
